BSB TV announces the placement of three of our featured bands on select dates of Vans Warped Tour, including Washington, D.C. and Orlando, marking a significant step forward not only for the artists but for the growing community that has supported them behind the scenes.
EverChanger, the Boston-based metalcore band I began supporting more than two years ago, will perform at the D.C. date, and their inclusion feels less like a surprise and more like the natural outcome of consistent development and vision. Their melodic instincts and dynamics signal mainstream potential without sacrificing their identity. Over the years, they have refined their sound with genuine study of music and incorporation of nontraditional genres into metalcore structure, understanding that longevity requires both technical execution and risk-taking. It's this attention to detail that has kept me a fan from the beginning.

Fieldhockey, representing post-hardcore with a bright sound and a strong presence, joins the Orlando lineup. Their post-hardcore influence often first surprises listeners and then earns their respect. During a special guest appearance of Amanda Phelan of Insomniac Events, Fieldhockey was selected as one of three bands from BSB TV to play Warped Tour.
I've also observed Fieldhockey under the scope of a few different festival organizers, and the common thread is that they draw big opinions. There seems to be great surprise that post-hardcore retains a large following despite its height in the early 2000s. Then the attitude generally shifts to their specific sound and energy. “Wait, I actually like this…” followed by a moment of confusion while processing that there is still demand for new post-hardcore music. Their ability to pull fans of other subgenres to posthardcore is a tremendous power flex.

Maybsomeday is also set to make an appearance in Orlando, following a notable BSB TV guest appearance of Van's Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman. During this appearance, Lyman expressed his enthusiasm for the band, stating, "This is a band that I'd like to hear more music from. I've started to look at who to work with in the future and I'll be looking at Maybsomeday. Definitely. They're solid." His selection carries significant weight in the music industry, as Lyman has a long history of recognizing and promoting emerging talent. Amanda Phelan later echoed Lyman's excitement when she then selected Maybsomeday for Warped Tour on BSB TV.
BSB TV’s role in this trajectory has centered on access and alignment rather than surface-level exposure. Throughout the past year, the stream has intentionally brought emerging artists into conversations with record label executives, booking agents, festival founders, and other industry professionals who influence tour routing and roster decisions. When talent is placed in environments where decision-makers can evaluate readiness directly, recognition becomes a byproduct of preparation rather than chance.
BSB TV consists of Ben Pritchard (Co-Founder), Danny Marty Ray (Co-Founder), Chris Ronan (Special Guest Coordinator), along with a dedicated team of music and media experts focused on highlighting the talent of emerging bands and artists.
